Bobcat in a Tree
Bobcats are like those mythical creatures you only hear about in the
storybooks. They are so elusive, that I have only come across two in a
the wild over a timespan of 25 years and hundreds of miles of hiking.
This little fellow was seen way up high in the treetops at the
Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge.
It had just snowed the night before and the temperature was hovering
around the freezing mark, but the sun was shining, and my guess is that
he was simply trying to get warm. Regardless, I was pleased to meet his aquaintence, if
only for a brief time.
